How do I oil/grease a collet chuck?

I finally got a working 5C collet chuck (from tools4cheap - I'm starting to really like this company.)
It's got a little bearing/nipple that I'm sure is for oil or grease so my question I guess is - what goes in it and how much? By how much I mean is there a relief valve somewhere that I can't see and I keep shoving stuff in one end until it comes out the other?

I'm hoping you'll say it's something already sitting on my shelf - cutting oil, 30weight, or machine oil - because I've already made my trip into town for the week.

thanks
Joe

Joe have you used your yet? and did you check the run out. I haven't got mine running yet.

I've "used" it enough to make sure it's OK. I didn't want to really use it until I figured out what went into that grease nipple. That means I attached it to the backplate, measured runout and tightened up a few piecs of work in different sized collets and took some very light cuts.

I used the backplate from the trash chuck - I only had to skim a little more off the edge of the tenon to make it a perfect fit for this chuck. Runout is less than .0005 and everything is smooth so I'm happy.
