Horizontal Arbor Storage

Can anyone confirm?
Is the optimal position to store horizontal arbors vertical?
I've clearly been taught that's how straight edges are best stored?
Opinions?

I think vertical would be best. Maybe find some eyebolts to screw into the drawbar hole and hang them on hooks on the wall.

That's a great idea!!
I was envisioning cutting some aluminum fingers into a shelf. But, the eyebolt idea preserves is great.
Darn another lathe project!!

I have a length of angle iron with notches cut out bolted to the wall holds them in a vertical orientation
