[Newbie] Hercus lathe

I have ordered the material to make the gang tooling block after playing around with a 3x2 wooden block with 4 x 12 mm holes in it I think I have sorted it as well as offsetting the q/c tool post so I can mount the parting tool as well as two er collet holders, a turning tool and threading tool. Once I have it made I will be able to see if I can fit a rear tool holder Oh and try and lear how to use it

How old is your Hercus.............I remember seeing catalogs of the CNC teaching machines in the 80s,lathe ,mill ,and a little plastic moulder....I might still have a Hercus catalog from those days.....prices were astronomical for the time,but I suppose CNC prices are still that way.

Good morning John and thank you for the reply. I don't know how old my Hercus is. It has a Win 98 operating system that also you write the programs on. It also has a yellow and blue rectangular remote that is called the teach pendant if I had to guess early 90's.
