Hello to all you guys again! First, thanks so much for all the help with my motor issue...I just couldn't bear to see a Harbor Freight motor on it!
Now for my current delima...I purchased a WT table raising device (screw type). It has the correct Post size (2 ¾") but the post collar attachment holes are too far apart. The collars bolts on my DP are 3 ¼ cc and the attachment bolt holes on the device mount is 3 ¾ cc, and is marked DP 7 on the casting. Are there collars out there that I need or am I looking to fabricate?IMG_1814.jpegIMG_1815.jpeg

Not sure if you have a lathe and mill but if you do, you could fab the collar fairly easy. Otherwise McMaster Carr sells locking shaft collars and then you could weld a couple ears on that to bolt your raising mechanism. Some of my thoughts that come to mind.
Cheers

No sir, no mill or metal lathe. My guess is WT made a specific collar for this (boy, do I hope I'm wrong..needle in a haystack!)

I'm a bit confused here (not familiar with WT drill presses). Is the "nut" supposed to attach to the table or to the fixed collar? If to the collar, and (I assume) you bought them together) something is indeed wrong. If to the collar under the table, I don't see how that would work ,,, those screws angle outward. Please add a couple more pictures.

PS - Been through "Squim" several times, on the way to and from Sekiu, where some friends and I used to stay at Van Riper's Resort the (cheap) weekend before "opening day." Very nice, scenic and peaceful. Lots of bald eagles. I used to stop at Hama Hama for oysters, to add to the "community" Chioppino. Lots of fond memories!

Nice you got to see a very nice part of out country....been all over and this is the best! The collar under the table came with the dp. I think I need a special collar to mount the raising bracket to.
ps...Hama Hama still here..bigger, and doing their thing.

Hmmm .. without a mill, your options are definitely limited. Assuming the "nut" is to be mounted to the collar under the table, the best I could suggest would be to (hacksaw?) shorten the ears of the "nut" to clear the collar screws, then drill new (clearance) holes in that part, and match drill & tap new holes in the collar.

Good to hear! I used to live in Corvallis, Oregon. It was a fun drive up to there. And also fun to visit the "northwestern most point in the continental US," out there on the Indian reservation.

Yeah, but I want to keep her as original/correct as possible. thanks!

I believe what you have is the head raising mechanism, not the table. Table mechanisms use a flange under the table and a groove in the raiser bracket so the table can still swivel. I don't see how your table will swivel with that raiser attached
