I purchased a disassembled 13 inch regal for $300.

I've been wanting to lathe for years and I love putting something from 1940-41 back into action. I, however, haven't been around lathes much. I have assembled it to get an idea of what parts are there, their condition and what parts are missing. I need some help identifying a few parts left over in the previous owners box of stuff. I don't know if these parts go to this lathe or not so need some assistance.

Part #2 is a set of bearings which might go with part #7 because the shaft is the right size but I have no clue where #7 comes from as it appears to have been drilled out to get it removed.

Any help is appreciated.

The remaining pictures are random pictures of the assembled machine.

The headstock has a couple of broken selector levers.

The cross feed has a broken nut and also the housing for the wheel which moves the tool post in/out is broken, so I'm stuck until I can find a replacement.

Also, the taper attachment is missing the clamp and linkage. Not too worried about it now.

The pin on the bottom rod doesn't fit snug so I'll have to find an alternative.

I'm curious what these holes are for.

The holes on the rear of the cross slide bridge are for mounting the follow rest. The missing pin on the end of the feed rod is likely a taper pin, not a problem to find once you identify the pin number. The right hand lever on the headstock looks like it needs a locking pin that needs to slide bac to disengage/ engage the holes in the sector to lock the back gear in or out, although this is not the way my 19" works, on it the whole handle is grasped and pulled outwards, disengaging a pin against spring pressure of the shaft that slides outwards.
