Help finding old post please

I am usually pretty good at this...but this has me stumped. It may be because of the semi-recent forum changeover.:thinking:

Anyway, someone posted a thread about modifications to a clamp set like this:



It involved gluing in blocks of wood maybe to elevate the threaded rods? My memory is fuzzy about it but I remember thinking it was a great idea.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I dunno Kenny. I don't remember any post about hold downs. Might have been lost in the transition, and I didn't get to see it because I wasn't online at the moment. I do check in at least twice a day, once in the morning for a few minutes, then a while in the evening on most evenings.
