I've looked online but I can't find an answer. What is the height of a Bridgeport table at its lowest point and at its highest point? I picked up one of the nine speed Central Machinery knee Mills from a buddy that passed away and he had it sitting up on a 25 inch high wooden platform. I would like to put it on a metal cabinet that has storage underneath but everything I'm finding seems too high at about 30 in. So I was thinking that the lowest and highest point of the Bridgeport able would be a guide for me to make a decision. I can always make something but I was hoping to find something existing

The attached PDF spec sheet for a Bridgeport Series 1 states that the maximum height of the table is 47.25" above the floor. The table (knee) travel is given as 16" ... so the minimum table height above the floor would be 31.25"

I have a Clausing 8520 which is pretty close in size and design to the HF 6x26". The factory cabinet it came with is 23" tall. If you are over 6ft+ a 30" cabinet might work for you, but I'm 6"2" and find the height on the Clausing mill a good fit for me. Adding another 7" wouldn't be unworkable, but I don't think it would be comfortable.

Personally I don't find the base storage all that usable. It is too low to the ground so I pretty much have to get on my hands and knees to get at things inside. Other than a rack for MT2 collets and such on the inside of the door which is easy to access, I mostly just use the space for the spare vise and rotary table.
