Has Taig fixed their 2018ER mill column problem in the 2023ER Mill?

I was leaning Taig until I read post #11 by Woodsman 22 in the 2018 "Sherline DRO question for you Sherline guys" thread about how the circular stand and column bosses just don't hold and the contortions people go to for a remedy. It doesn't look like Taig has addressed it. Am I wrong?
