Anyone have a rich uncle.

Don't know if this is way out of the ballpark but it looks nice and it is an HLV-H

Seems a little high, I would think that ~$10,000 would be closer to the real world, unless this one is in really ''like new'' condition.

$10,000 might be a little high.....

That's a whole different machine. It's a chucker, kind of like a turret lathe. Same basic frame, but not screw cutting and doesn't have some of the other features of the HLV-H. But a great lightweight precision production machine for small parts.

One with imperial and metric threading it would be worth that much.

Recently saw a hlv-h that needed switch etc on the tailstock end, sell for $500.00 in Houston, Tx. Probably not in as good condition as above mentioned machine. It was a 3 hr drive for me and I put off going too long. They had upgraded to cnc and wanted it out.
There is currently a Hardinge (don't know model) in Baton Rouge Craigslist for $1000.00
