Got Sharpie Problems?

Just as a warning... be careful, all pens are not the same.
Tried to do my deep reach pens. FAIL. it didn't move the ink to the tip, it moved it to the joint where the nib attaches to the body.
Pure explosion of ink when I took the cap off.
Ink EVERYWHERE.
After cleanup this is what I have... my fingernails are fully black in the cuticles and under the nail...
GRRRR.

I still have a lot of Sharpies, big ones, regular ones, metallic ones, more colors than a rainbow: secret is to store them pointy end downwards.

I've stopped buying black ones since I learned about the HF version:

I always store them point down. But what's so special about HF ..
These are the fine point nibs for reaching into holes.

Yes, I understand the long pointy markers.

The HF ones are like Sharpies, but have a firmer & pointier point, seem to last longer and don't dry out quickly:

I am really impressed with those HF markers, very well designed, don't know how much they are but can not be too expensive.

I'll have to check those out. I've been using the Milwaukee pens and have been very pleased with them, but there's always room for improvement (even if it's just price). I store them laying down in a drawer.

I have a couple of Pica pens but whilst they're good, the nib barrel isn't quite as long as I'd like and the 'felt' nib itself doesn't seem to be that durable.

The width of the nib is okay but I think I'd also like a finer point version too.
