Got a question about PM25 or other PM mill?

I am rebuilding my Grizzly G0704 CNC spindle and it looks like threads for the preload adjuster I’d kind crooked or cross threaded, but the preload want stay tight and it eats AC bearings because of uneven preload pressure maybe? Will a PM 25MV or a PM727 spindle fit it? The have to be better made spindles than the G0704, right?
