For various reasons I'm considering getting a Sherline while still keeping my Atlas 618. In perusing Youtube I stumbled upon this company that makes a true 5C headstock for the Sherline and Taig. The 5C of the Taig was swaying me away from the Sherline until I saw this company's offering. Does anyone know if they're still in business? The owner posted in January about some health issues personally as well as the fact that he's had to outsource manufacture to China with mixed results. A search here hasn't netted any reviews of the headstock itself. Maybe the price tag has something to do with that.

I've seen a few people around on Facebook that have said they have the headstock. I've seen many more that are waiting to receive their order months or years later. I have no idea of the current status of the owner or the business, but I wouldn't buy a Sherline if you're counting on getting one of their headstocks

I'd still buy a Sherline or maybe a Taig with the 5C headstock. I emailed the company on Sunday and I haven't heard back from them yet. I'm also noticing the lack of posts, positive or negative, on the Internet in general about the headstocks so maybe they're not all that.

Further searches show some Better Business Bureau activity with the company where people purchased but didn't receive their products from Glock CNC.

I have one of their "seconds" on my CNC mill drill project. Seems well built but I got it quite a while ago so can't say anything about them now. Mine is an ISO 20 and is one of the parts I will keep if I end up parting it out.

Here's some info about their current status.

Yes I read that update on the website the other day before I emailed them. For all we know the owner could be no longer with us. I hope he's okay for starters. The issues could be related to a number of things.
