I don't know if your post is a question or a gloat? I have never used a Globe milling attachment. I have only read about them. I do know that if you have one, you have a very unique device that is scarser than hens teeth.
A nice attachment to be sure. But looks like it is very heavy. I'd think the place for an attachment like that one would be on board ship where space is at a minimum. At least keyways could be milled with it. Still a limited milling attachment, dependent upon the travel and rigidity of the cross slide of the lathe. At my age,I prefer a regular milling machine.
If I ever found a rig like that, it wouldn't end up on my lathe. I'd have to build a bench-top horizontal milling machine out of it. Now let's see. If I knocked out that wall...

It is very rigid and quite useful from time to time, plus it came as an accessory with my lathe.
I know this thread was a long time ago, but this popped up and thought someone here might be interested? Though not complete, it’s still a good deal and could probably talked down in price.
I believe this is part of a Globe Model 70 milling and dividing attachment for a machine lathe. I don't know much about this. I got it with a lathe purchase and don't need it. I do have one head...
