Got this mill home several weeks ago... i posted this acquisition in the Asian machine section...

I then purchased the VFD and components from Automation Direct...their tech department was extremely helpful..!!
I rummaged through my plunder heap and came up with the metal for the mounts and VFD touch pad..
The aluminum adjustable arm i found in a scrap dumpster some time ago and had an idea that i would re purpose it some day...and i did.
I placed the VFD touch pad close to the panel just in case i want to tweak the parameter settings, i felt overtime eventually the surface buttons would fail from pressing with oily fingers etc ..so the switch panel will do the functions that i feel i need.
Forward - Reverse - Jog - Speed change and Emergency stop..
Now i need to add the main disconnect and an enclosure for the VFD main unit..

Well heck, I'll say it. Very nice work!!
You have inspired me to mount my VFD a bit more professionally

just finished mounting a vfd on a 6"x48" belt and 12" disc sander works well good job on yours bill

Not sure if mine is professional looking,... i just like things in some sort of order that works for me..i typically do not like to alter the original design of the machine if i do not have to...
Thanks for the kudos...i had some Hernia surgery this week and wanted to get this box mounted and the wall control box and dead man switch installed before that event...Ugh
While i am recouping i figure i can at least program the VFD and test run it out...
