Gage blocks

I have a set of Mitoya "A" gage blocks I picked up for cheap on EBay. Reason they were cheap is that the set is missing 10 of the blocks.

Is there a way to purchase individual blocks without buying a complete set?

I think I know which ebay set you bought and I would just buy some replacement .100 wear blocks and use the set as is. Down the road if you need one of the missing blocks buy it then.

I quite often see individual and small groups of gage blocks on eBay. Just keep an eye open and eventually you will find what you need.

Post up the sizes that you are missing. I have a few spares in my toolbox. They may not be Mit's, but they may be B&S, or Starrets. I have a few of all, with some bastard sizes too.

Like you I have an incomplete set and also a few duplicates. If interested email me and I'll check which sizes are my duplicates and which are my missing ones. Since it's Christmas Eve, it might take a day or two to sneak into the shop to check.
