I just acquired this one from a friend. He bought it for the cast iron cabinet it was mounted on. He had no interest in the machine. When I saw it in his garage I had to have it. It has a 3 ph gear head motor, the wiring going into the motor is shot. I hop to have some time soon to work on it.

Never hbeard of it, but it is as cute as a button!
Looks like you got a vise, and overarm nice! the vise lookms a bit like a hardinge vise. does it take 4c or 5c collets?

Very interesting... I wonder if the Frevert Tool Co. is a dealer and not the actual manufacturer. It's too bad that the base isn't with it, but I'm sure that you'll be able to make something up.

Cheers....

Brian

VERY COOOOOOL! Are you going to restore it?

I think Frevert was the dealer.

Since it has a Master gear head motor I think it may be a Burke; although I have never seen one like that.

I will restore it. I hope to start over the winter. I want to see it run, I also have to make room for it

Thanks for the info, every bit helps, I know nothing about this one

I just found out from the guy I got it from that it is a Rockford mill. It is a No 2 Mill from the information I found

I once had the same Rockford mill with the cabinet. Mine did not have all those brackets though. A lot of the small millers looked similar.

You have the overarm, the vise, and a great gear head motor. You have done well. Now make yourself an arbor and you will be all set. You can cheat on turning the tapered end by using one of the collets you already have. Put a stub on the end of the arbor and insert it into the collet.
