Freezes/Delays in TouchDRO

I got three reports (so far) about position freezing randomly on older tablets. So far it's two older Tab As running Android 8, and one Huawei tablet running unknown Android version.
Has anyone here run into this in the least few weeks? Specifically, this appears to have started after April 2nd release.

Saw the same behavior, hardware is an 2019 Amazon Fire HD 10 running FireOS 7.3.1.8 (Android 9). It connects to the DRO device via bluetooth and works as expected for about 5 seconds, then the updates start slowing down and sensor reading behavior is erratic until the app is force closed and restarted, then you get another 5 seconds of it working correctly.

Reverting to the previous version seems to resolve the issue.
