I was smiled on by the gods today. A fellow had a "New" Forester Co-axial press with all the add on's for the larger and smaller shell holders plus the part to use regular shell holders AND an old Herters powder measure with three powder reservoirs.
Are you sitting down? $125.00 for the whole deal! I've smiled 'til my face hurts. I've always admired these presses and a lot of the local bench rest guys sure seem to like 'em. YEEEEEEEha. I can feel my groups getting smaller right now.;>)

Great press. Wish I Started out with one years ago. The only down side is they like the F or ester rings for the dies. Some rings just don't work at all. Buying rings aren't a big deal, just an extra step. You may find someone that has them and not a coax press, and will trade you rings.

It came with several rings on a wire tie. I'll mount it today and try it out. The advertised mechanical advantage is 40-1 so sizing will be a breeze. They sell a short handle for smaller cases but being that I have a gun/machine shop, I'll make a short one today to see if it really is possible to size little cases with one finger. The old Herters measure looks like a good one too. Is there such a thing as too many powder measures?
I need to count mine to know how many isn't too many. Yep, the smile is returning........

Lucky dog! I've always admired those presses too! I think this warrants a you suck, doesn't it?!:)) just joking of course - congrats!

Congrats on the Co-Ax press and Herters measure. No, you can't have too many measures, and no , I won't admit how many I have. I do believe you should be ashamed for buying it for that price. To help you feel better I will be glad to take it off your hands, of course for the same price. Ain't working, huh?

My brother has one. He can form any cartridge case that you can imagine, and he can swage jacketed bullets too. It is The Work Horse of all of the presses, but the Lyman Orange Crusher comes in second as strong enough to swage bullets too. Lucky Duck. Well now that you have one....Are you going to make your own custom bullet swaging dies for it? Boy could I share piles of case forming secrets with you! Have fun with your new toy. I'm excited for your good fortune.

My first official "You suck". Life is good. Now who wants the next one I find. If I ever find another that is........

These presses are fantastic to use, great for forming wildcat cartridges. What does the add on for using normal shellholders look like?
