You better check behind you to see if the law is following you. You stole it for $25. If that motor works after you re-wire it, it was first degree grand theft. My fingers are crossed for you.

I paid $130 for my Dumore TPG and it didn't even come with aa custom 'plumbing' stand. Seriously, "like a bandit" comes to mind. Really nice score. The lot would be well worth what you paid without the Dumore. :eagerness:

Nice find. I did't do so well. I only found a milling vice & a small chunk of mystrey metal for $8 There is quite a bit of rust to clean off but it is in pretty good shap once the jaws are changed. No idea what it is.

ETA: Just got home & looked. It is a 6" (I think, haven't measure) K.K.K. vice.

Thanks for the replies. I put a new power cord on the motor and it works :high 5:, the wires were pretty brittle inside the motor but I think it will be OK. Now to figure out what I am going to keep and put the rest up for sale somewhere.
 
LIKE I found a motor like that 25 years ago bought it for $5 made a buffer/ wire bench set up out of it .. old Sears Kenmore 1 hp washing machine motor still works .........
Hey Good stuff .. u guys always come across the good stuff..... went to Auction the other day looking for a motor grinder for my next tool grinder project... walked around found nuthin... and the stuff that was a maybe they wanted $20-40 mots of that was $40-$50 new Well I wanted something to work on so Recently I picked up a craigs list old 3/4 Hp Craftsman Grinder with like no guards Motor was strong and aits a real 7 amp unit so had to settle.
