This is the last machine we loaded for the trip back, and it was probably the easiest to load and the heaviest. I had to trailer back the fork lift and got stuck again, but this time we had 4 wheel drive with us to pull me out. lol

I have always wanted an elbow brush, or how do you call this machine in english?

That is Arky's Steptow 24" shaper and it is some kind of heavy. We have it in the building but it's still on the roller pipes waiting to be moved into place. It may be in a mechanical coma for a while, as there are other jobs to be accomplished before this one gets any attention.

That'll throw some chip on full stroke. Especially impressive if you brush on some smokey cutting oil.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were near 8k. I've moved several shapers, and even a small one is pretty solid. One 36" I moved they said was almost 14k.

Hey, what are you doing hauling machine tools OUT of Texas????
We don't have nearly enough as it is!

Seriously, nice haul. Like to see that shaper in action

Sorry about that AR1911, but it followed us home. It's now in it's resting place and off the pipes. Got it wired up Sunday and ran it for just a bit. It sure does sound sweet. Got the Andry Chow wired up Saturday and ran it up to full speed and is it ever smooth running. Sweet machine. More as we go.
