Been building these airsoft conversions for my 4 year old using a dremel and angle grinder for the past 3 years.
I just buy broken/used airsoft stocks and gut them out and bed the .22 long rifle inside.
I just got a LMS mini mill a few months ago and will be designing/machining my own rifle chassis' for the .22's

His 1st time shooting at age 3. He can't pull the heavy trigger on the 10/22 so I had to help him out.

I'm not sure at what age when they're strong enough to do their own trigger pulls.

Some of the range vids of the other .22 builds. Gets plenty of looks and laughs at the range. Blows their mind when the find out it's a .22LR instead of a high caliber rifle

Awesome conversions defcon! Be very very careful with the little guy.......you may not like what can happen. I started my son out at the same age.

This is the outcome.

I'm not sure if it's good or bad either way it's expensive. Lol but worth every penny.

looks like you guys have a lot of fun with them.
they look great and i'm sure they shoot as well as they look!
thanks for sharing the fun

they are all really cool, my favorite is the Bren with honorable mentions to the bullpups too!
although that M249 SAW looks super cool too!

you must be the most popular guy at the range with those.

My FAL always gets the crowd to gather

ive got a MG42 and 1919A6 parts kit. i just need the blue prints on the receiver and have someone weld it up for me.

these will also have a .22 inside

Nice collection, I like the variety. I'm sure you have had a lot of fun building them.
Your son is a lucky boy.

Since airsoft isn't a real firearm, are there any available in a configuration that isn't legal as a firearm? (VFG's and such...). I did not see anything that stood out in the pics (and maybe there aren't any). Just seems like a line one would have to careful they don't cross when doing these conversions (and for all I know you do).
