Er Collets

I have an ER25 nose adaptor for my super 7. It fits on the lathe fine and using an indicator it seems to be very accurate. I have a ER25 collet, but it does not fit correctly. It fits in the taper, but the nut does not engage the collet. Is there another type of ER25 collet?

Did you snap the collet into the nut first?
