I have a couple end mills that I need to get sharpened. Two of them are just dull at the end from running them into a piece that work hardened on me. A couple more I chipped the ends by dropping them or running them into a work piece with the machine off. I have seen a couple services online but wanted to hear suggestions from the hobby community. They are HSS and some have coatings but I am not too worried about the coating. Almost all Niagara cutters.

Thank you for suggestions in advance.

I have a mill. No surface grinder. I saw a couple ways to sharpen then with a die grinder but do not have a clear way to index them.

I did a couple 2 flute in my mill, turn up the rpm all you can get, use a grinding wheel with a 1/4" shank about 3/4" dia. I used a angle vice to get the primary and secondary angle, use the v in the vice to hold the end mill vertical, line it up with a square and grind the primary angle, than index it using the square to line up the other angle. After both are ground increase the angle to grind the secondary angle.

You will get great service at very reasonable prices from Brian Gruschow at endmill-sharpening.com
Used him several times with great results.
