Emco v13 vibration

Greatings everyone , I have just acquired a Emco V13 lathe, I am having a vibration problem that seems to be caused by the belt . I can change the tension of the belt which moves the vibration to a different speed range . The lathe is anchored properly to the floor and level. Any thoughts will be appreciated. You may want to look into the segmented belt. I have one on a table saw and love it. Lots of people are changing the drive belts out on machines due to the vibration.

Tony , The belt on this machine is a multi groove . Good idea but without turning the pullies that style belt won't work. Thanks anyway, Tom
