ok here we go, just got a new to me lathe, it has a nice set of anilam scales i think b5 , the display was missing.
the scales have the 6 pin round canon plugs, there are several displays that look good on ebay for not a lot of bucks, i worte one and they send that the scales will work with there display but i would need to make a cable anyone know if its just that simple and if so anyone have the pinout or drawing to change to the 9 pin din connectors everyone uses now ?

I have the documentation for my Sino scales that lists the pinouts (d-sub 9) which is the same as my Easson scales that are TTL signal. I don't know how to convert to the Accurite/Anilam 6 pin scales (which I also believe is TTL but don't quote me on that) though.

I was going to post a copy of the diagram for you but it's the same as the one DROPros lists (note TTL on the left column).

Allendale/M-Dro in the UK does sell the adapters for pluig & play but they aren't cheap, $52ea (our dollar ain't doing too well). I have purchased from them (my lathe DRO display) & they are reputable.

Definitely much cheaper to get some D-sub 9 connectors to rewire your scales.

A = A channel
B = B channel
C = +5 volts
D = 0 volts
E = Shield
F = NA
