I have a very old SOKKI Electronics #DU 202 C.
The company was already out of business when I bought the mill 23 years ago.
It is working fine so I would rather not replace it untill I have to.
The only button that I have figured out how to use is the 1/2 button.
Anyone have one, or know where I might find a manual for this old thing?

If you push 1/2 enough times, you have effectively figured out how to zero the display.......

But my point is that the zero and 1/2 buttons are the most useful.......

I think on a lathe that is true. Very few other functions including the tool storage function do I believe are of value on a Lathe. For other equipment like a mill, they are much more valuable.

The OP didn't specify, but the fact that he has mentioned the 1/2 button, makes me think he is on a lathe. But I could be wrong.

I use the 1/2 button for centering work. I find one edge of my work and zero my axus. Then I dind the opposite edge and hit the 1/2 button. This places the axis zero at the center of my work.

The 1/2 button doesn't function like a rad/dia button in that it doesn't halve the scale factor. It only divides the current position by 2.

RJ That link helps a lot.
I am usually pretty good at google, I wonder why I could not find that.

I did mention in the OP that this is DRO is on a mill that I purchased 23 years ago.

The clear (Zero) buttons get used all the time, and the half button as mentioned to find the center of my part.

I will be doing some experimenting to see just how the other functions work.
