First off I know nothing about dros and just got powerfeed on my new pm932m. doesn't really tell you speeds you just turn the knob faster or slower. so what I was wondering say if I install precision matthews house brad dro is there a way to use your dro to calculate sfpm instead of just guessing with the knob ???

The house brand does not show speed at least from a brief review of the manual. The ES-12B does indicate speed in one od the soft key windows. It is not difficult to calibrate your power feed by just measuring the distance traveled over a fixed time for different numbers on the scale.

Milling feeds are often expressed in inches per minute, one down and dirty method is to run the feed at a knob position for one minute and note the travel then scribe this data on the dial face. Do this in several knob positions and it will give a range of feed speeds.
