DRO for 25MV

I've had my 25MV for about 3 years and I'm looking to add a DRO.
I don't know what I want but I've read about two things I don't want.
Some scales require a battery. NO!!!
Some scales have problems with interference and require resistors and a lot of fiddling. NO!!!
I bought an inexpensive mill because I'm frugal/cheap.
I'm just a hobbiest and I use my mill infrequently.
I don't want a top of the line device.

Basically, TouchDRO controller, Vevor Linear glass scales, 5um and an older Amazon HD10 pad. Under $300 for three axis. Maybe a little less for the 25MV as it has less travel than PM30-MV and you will need shorter scales.
