drip style or pressurized coolant....

Thinking of switching over to one of these,
as to reduce airborne fogs common with the old spray coolant systems,
and trying to get away from the flood coolant systems.

Any ideas and or opinions appreciated as far as brands and or homemade systems.........

Mine would be milling:biggrin: as my lathe I have on order has lube system but open to what type fluid in my lathe??

if your using carbide endmills and inserted tooling, use no coolant, dry compressed air, the air chillers are also nice for carbide, they are expensive to purchase but if you have time you can probably make one...

Spray....
Most machinist use too much coolant on the cutting tool when using the spray systems.
Adjust the nozzle so that it barely sprays that one can see a trace on your fingernail in front of the nozzel..
That's all is needed.
Any more is a waste..

Drip or brush "Spraytap" when parting off on the lathe.
