At first not a computor guy but when this stuff crept into the police dept we all had to embark into the unknown. I'll tell you as now if it were in schools
in my day I'd get all AAAA's. So my story is that for 30+ yrs one of my presses, I got no clue what, who or anything about it. Yesterday a fellow picked
up on an old post (some forum) emailed me with startling results. He said , he bet its an "Avey" I never heard of that! Till now I could not find any number, cast marks under who knows the year, but I was pointed out the locations. Sure enough a little razor & steel wooling, bingo! Found; a brass
plate > -G-DA-41- any one know what that means? And then I was directed to a patient site, and sure enough around 1900 the patient on my exact
belt drive system. I clicked to save the pic and info, but I do not know how to save a download into a saved folder. "it says I gotta save to a known program whatever that is" I'll ask the kid. So here is a genuine not restored 'just kept up' Avey machine. special thanks to Dave!!! Sam

I borrowed Keith Fenners Idea, Put new steering wheel on my Ford tractor put the old one on the DP. best thing I ever did - try it
