Drill Bit Question

Does anyone know if you are able to buy or if they even make a 1'' diameter drill bit with an MT2 taper. Been searching for one and have come up empty. I have found them in mt3 but the use of an adapter would be necessary on my lathe.

If you cannot find one then make one. Get a #2 Mores blank and drill a 1/2” hole in it. Get a 1” drill with a 1/2” shank. Attach the two together (you pick a method) and you are done…Good Luck, Dave.

I normally just turn #3 down to #2`s. You can do it with the compound. It's a good exercise
