Double Sided Tape & Glass Platen

Has anyone tried it using double sided tape to attach their platen?
Thinking about trying it.

Double sided tape is an excellent solution for holding down objects. Keep in mind that using coolant will weaken the holding power of the tape, as will not cleaning both surfaces diligently prior to applying the tape.. Also, use very thin tape; thicker tape allows the object to move around and is not nearly as strong.

I would think the heat would be a problem, i would stay with epoxy .

I agree - use epoxy.
