I want to make this keyway slotter, but if someone has dim's for a 9" SB lathe it would be easier to make. A material list would be nice too. If not I will do it on the fly. See pic.
Thanks,
Paul

Would appear to be a variation on Mr ISHIMURA's slotter - http://homepage3.nifty.com/amigos/slotter/slotting_tool-e.htm.

Unless you get real lucky, you'll probably have to adapt it to your individual lathe - IIRC, his was made for a 8x18 (or similar?) Just get your measurement from what ever point its gonna mount on - cross slide/compound/tool rest, or ?? to center line of spindle - go dig in the scrap box and start assembling.

This is what I ended up with for my Asian origin SB 13x36 using Mr Ishimuru's version for inspiration,

Here is one I built. Sorry I don't have the dimensions it was built on the fly.
I bored the block with the block mounted on the slide so it is concentric with the lathe bore.

I made a variety of sizes of inserts that go in the end of the shaft.
A set screw holds them in place in the end of the shaft.
