I took this monster in on trade when selling my DoAll T&C grinder, I was told it came out of a local school & that it was throwing blades, I wired it up and although the blade wouldn't cut a stick of melted butter I have not had the blade kick off even running the speed up pretty fast. I need to download a manual as I'm not sure about all of the functions, it has a material feeder, blade welder and it has high and low range. It's a 1612-0 Benny has the 1612-3, not sure what the differences are but I hope the blades are the same

NICE! Auto feeder and built in blade welders are desirable features.

This might sound dumb, but make sure your blade's teeth are pointed in the right direction. My grandfather always had the blade facing upwards because he thought the blade fed upwards. After we flipped the blade it actually cut and had a good laugh afterwards. Also make sure it's sharp.

Thanks for the tip, I'll go check that right now:lmao::lmao::lmao: Just kidding

That's a nice looking saw. Is that the original paint? Great shop addition!

Looked at pics again and now see two paint layers, still very nice

I use a one like that with a larger throat depth at work. On mine there is an oil filled transmission for the gearbox it's a good idea to check the level when you get the saw if I remember there's no real mark to check the level ,just fill to above the axle I think but this is all I remember from years ago so you should consult the manual.
