Found a local machine shop going under. I am going there Sunday. Is there anything specific you guys need. This will not ba an expansive trip. If you want something tell me here in this thread. If you don't want to give a price range out here, PM that to me. I will fill all the requests I can.

Hey Bill, I'm in Ct . If it's not too far from naugatuck , I might want to check it out with you, if that's ok. Let me know. I really don't need anything in the way of machinery, but I could use some cutters and other misc stuff. Maybe some metal stock if they have any of that.

I need a 4 jaw chuck for my lathe. I forget what the tpi is. I'll have to check. But I think somewhere are 7" would be good for a 12" lathe correct?

I'm on the lookout for a TPG, preferably a Dumore, but not stuck on that. Always a few cat 50 taper holders.
I'll PM some details to you a little later. I'm about to go out for the evening.
 
Are they having an open sale on Sunday? I'm in southern CT, could go there, and could use a few things (small rotary table, boring head, misc small stuff) if the price is right (i.e. good used stuff for price comparable to new junky import stuff on ebay).

No it is not an open sale yet. I know the owner. He asked if I wanted to look around and maybe buy a few things. I didn't know he was selling out till last Sunday. I will let everyone know when it becomes an open sale. Chris, I need the thread size on your chuck.

I'm looking for some B&S 11 tooling, 30 taper tooling (arbors, endmill holders, collet holders for ER or TG, not picky just sick of my DA's). DRO scale if he has some loose, CInncy tool master 1-D (actually not a joke there). I don't have a clue what a good offer would be for things like this though (rarely hit auctions)
 
BXA tool holder that will accept 1" tool holder

( I can buy brand new dorian on ebay for just over $50 )
