When I first set up TDRO I swear I found a screen that let me put in cutter diameter, RPM and when I moved the handwheels calculated chip load per tooth or some type of calculation like that.

What is this called and how do I get back to it?

To set the end mill diameter, use the Cutter Radius Compensation function.

OK, great, I'm not crazy.

Will this work in concert with the RPM readout in the software (Hall effect sensor) or does the RPM value need to be input.
