Dial Indicator spindle extensions

Hi all,
There are times you need the reach of a standard indicator to be increased.
I've been looking for dial indicator spindle extensions with no success, does anyone know where there might be a set or tool supplier ?
I realise I need to supply the thread type and diameters but thought to put this out there this morning for now.

Andre, this didn't sound quite right. I just checked three of my indicators, and it's 4-48.

DD - if you need a 4-48 screw in a hurry, you might have some luck going to a gunsmith. I think that's a thread size used on firearms.

PS - German measurement instruments seem to use 2.5mm.

I have a set of extension that came with a dial depth indicator. so thay are out there.

Hi all,
There are times you need the reach of a standard indicator to be increased.

If your end looks like this and you just need something fast and dirty to get by with, this works, 3mm x .5 pitch, you need to crank on it a bit in the die holder...!)
