Is there any way to swap out a male JT33 spindle in a Delta 17-990X to a female MT-2 spindle?

How would I go about making one, and what would it cost?

If you have a lathe copy the old one and just change out the spindle chuck end. Economic wise probably not worth it. It would make a good project and a lot could be learned from doing it.
