No shop is complete without some kind of press. After using several old mechanical presses at home. My first hydraulic press was a homemade one from steel I had around the shop and a 10 ton porta-power.. It was a father-son project that he learned to stick weld.
Fast forward twenty years this Nesco 20 Ton press came along with a whole shop equipment purchase. The Nesco was made in the USA and a top quality press.. I did add an newer air over hydraulic cylinder that was handy.
Three years ago I went full out and purchased this 50 Ton Dake press. The only option was the tonnage gauge on top. I have always wanted a Dake. Top shelf and Made in the USA! In my opinion it doesn't get any better..
