Not terrible, but I paid ~550 (a few years ago) for a complete 12x36" commercial craftsman (with the 1/2" ways) which came fairly well tooled, so I think this might be a bit high for that lathe, or I just got an exceptional deal. I bought it in Lancaster, CA. Missing most of the covers, which tend to keep crud out of the gears. You can find them seperately on Ebay, but that's additional cost. That looks like a 24" between centers "commercial" 12" lathe.
