I have finally started re-assembly of my lathe and noted the countershaft bearing journals and bearings are toast. I have a new shaft on the way from Logan, but I'm curious if anyone has pressed and reamed in new bushings in the bearing housings (the floating type)? My bearing housings have the tiny oiler cups, and I'm uncertain the bearings will press right out or be fickle?
