For the last while a client has been renting space to repair his SR27 Sailboat that had taken damage during a winter blow.
While it was here, they noticed that the deck at the stern was starting to crack at the seam. This is quite common on boats as there is just a bit of gelcoat and filler in the crack where the hull and the deck meet.
So I made up a couple of "suitcase" caps for him. Material 1/8 SS plate, Cut, bent and Tig welded up the corners.
