I got the Deckel disease a long time ago, I now have two, a late FP-1 and a FP-2NC.

Guido can you tell me if the fp1 and fp2 share the same horizontal mlling over arm support? Same arbor size?

I don't think so, the FP2 is a lot bigger machine physically. If the FP1 is a later model, they usually came with a CAT40 spindle, which is what a FP2 has.

Ok thank you. That helps. Could you tell me how long the over arm is on the fp1?

Mine is a mt4 spindle.

Thank you. Don't need high precision. The support I am looking at is something like 28-30" long judging from photos.
