[How do I?] Convert G-code to conversational Prototrak Mill?

Can this be done? I'd like to design a program using Mastercam and then getting the G-Code for it. I've seen someone with software called PT4Sx and you enter the G-code and then you can see how it looks on the converstational prototrak mill? Thanks guys. I just find it easier to program in Mastercam than pushing 200 buttons on a prototrak.

I don't have a Prototrak, but this youtube video appears to show how to do it with Mastercam.

yes I've watched that. i got the software and everything but I don't have the Prototrak Machine definition type to enter into the Toolpath. How can I add this machine to the list in Mastercam?

I haven't used Mastercam in years. I use VisualMill now. If there are no specific Prototrak Machine Definitions, you made need to edit/create one for you machine.

If you don't have any Machine Definitions, you made need to reinstall or contact Mastercam.

Your MasterCam dealer will have the POST for Prototrak. Not sure what model prototrak you have but here is a link to some problems with MasterCam and Prototrak.

I've found out that this post only came with Mastercam X5.

Have only used a prototrak a handful of times, have used several other conversational controls where a key combination (done purely by accident) will bring up a text screen with the underlying G-Code.
