In my continuous search for help & info on tool grinding I was talking to a former employers former partner about cutter sharpening and my plans to go into the business, His first question was "How many grinders do you have?" & then said "Cutter grinding/tool sharpening is very setup intense" no more was said but after I got back to my shop I realized I need to keep both tool grinders so I can have both ops in doing an end mill set up at the same time. One with the work head for doing the ends & the other with the air fixture for doing the flutes.
I found a PDF of the Cincinnati #2 owners manual online and it was great help. I also received a Norton book on carbide grinding from Senna & just bought 10 Norton books 2 of which were "Tool Room Grinding" tons of info.
May be sharpening a couple cutters tonight.:bitingnails::bitingnails:
