Got a .284 Bartlein, 8 twist 3B contour barrel indicated in my PM 1228 lathe. It's "Dead Nuts", ready! Prepared the build sheet for a Remington 700 LA blueprinted action, probably machine the tenon tomorrow, and ream the chamber the next day. This will be for a 280 Remington Ackley Improved cartridge. I'm a newbie hobbyist, I've chambered two other barrels, and completed the builds. Both shoot little groups. Thanks to the Hobby Machinist for all the great threads that help folks like me
