Clausing taper attachment wanted

I have a Clausing model 111 or 4800 engine lathe. I need a complete or partial taper attachment. Not concerned with condition. I have noted that parts from later models fit fine, as I have an apron and tailstock from later model 12" machines.

If you see one for a 15" 8000, then I and several others on HM may be interested.

I found one on fleabay, but the guy wants 750$ for it. That's more than I paid for the lathe, and all the subsequent parts I have put in it to get it running. Bleh.

$750 is certainly cheaper than the price of a new taper.
Gotta decide if you are willing to pay that much....
They are really fun and easy to use. However, if you seldom use it then it is nearly a waste of cash.
Seems like some never ever get used, others use theirs frequently.
