Hello All,

Got you a newbie here that is looking for some advice. I have ran across Cincinnati Lathe & Tool Co. D-133 7 1/2” x 36” Radial Drill that looks to be in pretty decent shape I can pick up for $800 but I can’t find any info anywhere online for it other than a manual someone has on eBAY. Normally, can find info on most any machine I have looked at but this one is a ghost. Thoughts? Ideas? Advice? Experience?

Thank you. I looked and did not see the machine listed. Just seems weird that it is not there. Maybe someone is trying to tell me something

Yeah that’s the way it goes for old machine tools, manuals are hard to find.
For $800 and if I had the room, I’d go for it. No used machine I ever bought came with a manual, I either found one on line or mostly, managed without one.

Beyond the specs, I'm not sure there's anything more you would need. It looks like a beast that is pretty simple to understand and operate.

56" spindle to column!!

I appreciate it. I just found it odd I couldnt find any information on it and just wanted to try and make sure it wasn’t some odd ball every one is avoiding.

Not avoiding, just don't have use for that heavy duty a drill press.

I've used one, it had about an 8 foot arm and a 18" column. (Memory may exaggerate, this was in the mid '70s.) It would push a 2 1/2" drill bit through cast iron like nobody's business.

Edit: correct typo
