Change Unimat spindle from M12 to m14?

I have a DB200 with the M12 by 1.0 spindle. I would like to replace the spindle with the larger bore M14 by 1.0 spindle found on the later model machines.

Is that possible?

AFAIK, major modification would be necessary to achieve the task.
