I have that identical welder. Bought it new in 1992-ish. Never had any issues with it. Of course there is no shortage of people that don't like stick welding.

Simple buzz box but had DC output and only 75 bucks, good deal.

We started with Cas then did stick for many years before mig.

Stick are very versatile and great for first unit.

The only welder that I have is a HF flux core that I converted to DCEN. I rarely use it. Mostly because life events over the last two years have kept me out of the shop. Most stick welders that I come across look to have been used and abused with asking prices way more than I can justify for occasional use. I will be going into town tomorrow. If it is still available I'll give the seller a call. Thanks for the feedback.
